Masturbation

Masturbation is the manual excitation of the sexual organs most often to the point of orgasm. It can refer to excitation either by oneself or by another . It is part of activities known as autoeroticism, which also includes the use of sex toys and non-genital stimulation. There are also masturbation machines used to simulate intercourse. Masturbation and sexual intercourse are the two most common sexual practices. Some people are able to achieve orgasm only through masturbation and not by sexual intercourse. masturbation has been observed in many mammalian species also.

Masturbation techniques

Ways of masturbation are usually common in male and female include pressing or rubbing the genital area, either with the fingers or against an object such as a pillow .Inserting fingers or an object into the vagina and or stimulating the vulva/clitoris with electric vibrators (which may also be inserted into the vagina or anus) are also few of the ways of female mastrubation. Same ways male also stimulate penis with vibrator. Members of both sexes may also enjoy touching, rubbing, or pinching the nipples or other erogenous zones while masturbating. Reading or viewing pornography or sexual fantasy are often common adjuncts to masturbation

Female masturbation techniques

Female masturbation techniques are many and more varied than those of males. They are influenced by a number of factors and personal preferences. Techniques include stroking or rubbing of the vulva, especially the clitoris, with the middle, index and/or second fingers. Sometimes one or more fingers may be inserted into the vagina to repeatedly stroke the frontal wall of the vagina where the g-spot is located. Masturbation aids such as a vibrator, dildo can also be used to stimulate the vagina and clitoris. Many women will caress the breasts or stimulate a nipple with the free hand. Anal stimulation is also enjoyed by some because of the thousands of sensitive nerves located in that area. Female also may masturbate by usuing shower , sometimes including the use of running water to stimulate the clitoris. Common positions for female masturbation includes lying on back or face down, sitting, squatting, or even standing, With lying face down, one may straddle a pillow, the corner or edge of the bed, a partner's leg or some scrunched-up clothing and rub the vulva and clitoris against it. While in standing position, the corner of an item of furniture, or even a washing machine, can be used to stimulate the clitoris through the labia and clothing. Some reach orgasm merely by crossing their legs tightly and clenching the muscles in their legs, which creates pressure on the genitals. This can also be done in public without observers noticing. Some prefer to use only pressure, applied to the clitoris without direct contact, for example by pressing the palm or ball of the hand against underwear or other clothing.

Male masturbation techniques

Male masturbation techniques are also influenced by a number of factors and personal preferences. The most common technique is to simply hold the penis with a loose fist and then to move the hand up and down the shaft until orgasm is achieved. Stimulation of the penis comes from the movement of the foreskin. This reduces friction. While some male give stimulation from direct contact with the hand. Many massage (with some using a lubricant to reduce friction) the glans, Another technique is to place just the index finger and thumb around the penis about halfway along the shaft and move the skin up and down. Another way of doing masturbation is to lie face down on a comfortable surface such as a mattress or pillow and rub the penis against it until orgasm is achieved. Other techniques include the use of an artificial vagina for masturbation. Many fondle their testicles, nipples or other parts of their body with the other hand while masturbating. Some may use vibrators and other sexual devices for masturbation.
